We asked Luis Ortiz, CEO and Co-Founder of Infinite Harvest, what’s next?

What’s the most ambitious goal you aim to achieve with this new round of funding?

With this new round of funding, our most ambitious goal is to scale our decentralized waste processing solution in North America, revolutionizing waste management practices and the way food producers look at organic waste. We envision a future where our technology not only mitigates environmental impact but also fosters sustainable growth and resource optimization on a global scale.

Our current pilot customer has over 170 greenhouse members in Ontario, that have already shown interest in deploying our solution once the initial pilot is completed successfully. With this experience, we intend to extend our sales efforts into the US and from there globally at later stages.

Additionally, we intend to complete the development of insect based products to commercialize into animal feed markets; and complete the filling for protection of our IP developments (Elevate-IP is doing all the ground work at the moment).

We have already secured support from IRAP for the Carbon Lifecycle analysis of our solution and this initial funding with allow us to develop the Carbon Offset and credit solution of our insect based waste biodigestor.

What’s one lesson you have learned during your fundraising process that you would like to share with other entrepreneurs?

Throughout our fundraising process, we’ve gleaned invaluable insights that we are eager to share with fellow entrepreneurs. One lesson that resonates deeply is the importance of storytelling. Beyond the numbers and metrics, investors are drawn to compelling narratives that convey our passion, vision, and commitment to driving positive change. Crafting a narrative that articulates our mission in a meaningful and relatable way has been instrumental in securing support and building lasting partnerships.

This storytelling combined with creating long term relationships with potential investors, allows you as a startup to keep them up to date in your progress and allows them to consider an investment in the company once they see that you are committed to delivering on your business plan.

What next for Infinite Harvest Technologies ?

Because of te modularity of our solution and the global demand for sustainable protein ingredients, our final goal involved expanding our solution offering globally become a Canada based leader on the industry.

The journey ahead for Infinite Harvest Technologies is brimming with promise and potential. Building on our foundation of innovation and sustainability, we are poised to expand our reach and impact across North America.
